Inferno Dragon Gains Evolution Upgrade in Clash Royale After Nine Years

Clash Royale has finally released a significant enhancement for the Inferno Dragon. After nearly a decade without an Evolution, this fiery Legendary card receives a powerful upgrade. To mark the occasion, Supercell collaborated with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a special reveal event.

A Heated Negotiation Unfolds!

Nine years since its debut, the Inferno Dragon takes center stage in a new Clash Royale trailer featuring Ismo Leikola as its eccentric Hollywood agent. The humorous skit shows the dragon abandoning its battlefield duties to chase fame in Tinseltown.

The Evolved Inferno Dragon introduces a game-changing mechanic—it now maintains its damage ramp when switching targets, unlike the original version that reset on target change.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Ignites New Season

The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season brings back the 2v2 League alongside the new Evolution. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.

Arena 7+ players can earn rewards through Milestone Events, including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics. Two Crown Chase events offer Battle Banners (with frames and decorations) plus Evolution Shards.

Throughout June and early July, special limited-time modes will showcase Evolution cards: - Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9) - Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) - Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) - decks with up to 4 Evolutions - Magical Trio (June 16-23) - 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30) - Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) - decks with up to 8 Evolutions
