The legendary *Age of Empires Mobile* expands its universe with the introduction of the exciting new Mercenaries System, providing players with enhanced control and formidable power over their armies. This feature unlocks at Level 26, allowing players to engage with the Mercenary Camp, where they can contract and recruit elite mercenary units. These units come with their own exclusive technologies that players can unlock and upgrade, adding depth and strategic options to their gameplay.

Each mercenary group brings unique special skills to the battlefield. Here’s a closer look at what they offer:

Byzantine Cataphract:

  • Increase the damage of all hero skills of the army by [2%]
  • After the troops inflict skill damage, all damage received by our troops is reduced by [3.5%] for [3] seconds

Swiss Pikeman:

Players can kickstart their mercenary journey by securing their first Mercenaries for free through a special event that coincides with the system's launch.

The Mercenaries System also introduces thrilling "What if" scenarios, enabling players to mix and match their favorite legendary heroes with various mercenary classes.
