Pokémon GO Unveils the Content Roadmap for May 2025 and There’s a Surprise!

May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, packed with events and the much-anticipated return of the Lake Trio. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the comeback of Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf in 5-Star Raids, spread across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing with it the powerful move Nature's Madness and a chance to encounter its Shiny form.

Following that, starting on May 12th, players can participate in a global tour featuring the Lake Trio. Depending on your location, you'll encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.

Once the Lake Trio concludes their stint, Tapu Bulu will take over the Five-Star Raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025. It will also feature Nature's Madness and a chance to catch its Shiny variant.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a robust lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to May 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to May 25th, and then Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

And Here Are the Details of All the Events

The "Growing Up" event runs from May 2nd to May 7th, with a special Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to May 18th, the "Crown Clash" event takes place, overlapping with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day is scheduled for May 11th, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery for now. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" follows from May 14th to May 18th, with a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.

The "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" event spans from May 21st to May 27th, and the May Community Day Classic is set for May 24th. Pokémon GO will wrap up the month with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th, 2025.
