Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled the first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. Leaks proved accurate regarding several key additions, but some titles will have limited availability based on subscription tier.

The January 2025 additions include a mix of genres and access levels:

New Games Arriving in January 2025:

• Road 96: Available now (January 7th) for all Game Pass tiers (including PC). A returning title previously available on the service.
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview): January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• My Time at Sandrock: January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• Rolling Hills: January 8th (Standard Subscription)
• UFC 5: January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate only)
• Diablo: January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only)

Note the tiered access for Diablo and UFC 5. While rumors correctly predicted their arrival, only Ultimate subscribers will access UFC 5, and Diablo is limited to Ultimate and PC Game Pass users. The remaining titles are available with a standard subscription.

New Game Pass Ultimate Perks are also live as of January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departing Games (January 15th):

Six games are leaving the service on January 15th:

• Common'hood
• Escape Academy
• Exoprimal
• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain

This announcement covers only the first half of January. Further updates are expected for the latter half of the month and beyond.
