World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Missing Celebration Crates

World of Warcraft players can still earn the coveted Detective title and unlock the quest for the elusive Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. This is thanks to the relocation of Alyx, the key NPC, to a permanent location.

Alyx, a Lightforged Draenei, now resides in Dornogal, specifically in the hot springs area northwest of the Delver's Headquarters, near the Foundation Hall. Alyx, now titled "Volunteer Event Coordinator, Among Other Things," maintains their crucial clue board detailing the whereabouts of 11 missing Celebration Crates.

Obtaining the Detective Title:

1. Locate Alyx: Travel to Dornogal and find Alyx near the Delver's Headquarters.
2. Gather the Crates: Examine Alyx's clue board and locate the 11 hidden Celebration Crates scattered throughout the world. Note: Players must be level 10 to begin Celebration Crate quests, but level 68 is required to access Dornogal.
3. Return the Crates: Return the crates to Alyx. Six crates award the "Crate Insurance Agent" achievement, while all 11 unlock "No Crate Left Behind," "Azeroth's Greatest Detective," and most importantly, the Detective title. This title is the key to initiating the Incognitro mount questline.

Important Note: While the Detective title and Incognitro quest remain accessible, other Guest Relations quests from the anniversary event are no longer available. Achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager" and "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats," along with their associated rewards, are now unobtainable.

This strategic move by Blizzard ensures that players won't be permanently locked out of acquiring the Detective title and the rare Incognitro mount. While some anniversary content is lost, the persistence of this particular questline provides a lasting reward for dedicated players.
