How To Find and Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite

Author:Kristen Update:Feb 10,2025

Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, ethereal beings offering players valuable items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive Sprite, can be found in specific locations on the new Chapter 6 map. This guide details its location and how to interact with it.

Fortnite Earth Sprite Locations: A Comprehensive Guide

Fortnite Earth Sprite Locations

The Earth Sprite is exclusive to the main Battle Royale mode (including Zero Build and Ranked) within Chapter 6. While approximately two dozen potential spawn points exist, indicated by solitary lanterns (like the one pictured above, north of Burd), only two Sprites appear per match. Finding one requires checking multiple locations.

Interacting with the Earth Sprite

Locating the Earth Sprite is the challenge. Once found, simply press the interact button while facing it. This will relinquish your currently held weapon, which is then replaced with a random Legendary weapon, completing the Week 1 Quest and rewarding you with 25,000 XP. While time-consuming, the high-rarity weapon makes the effort worthwhile.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
