War Thunder is Dropping Its Firebirds Update With New Aircraft Soon!

War Thunder's Firebirds Update: New Aircraft and More!

Gaijin Entertainment has announced the upcoming Firebirds update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update introduces a host of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships.

New Aircraft Soaring into War Thunder

Prepare for the arrival of iconic aircraft, including the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.

The F-117A Nighthawk marks a first for War Thunder: it's the game's first stealth aircraft. Its unique design, incorporating radar-absorbing materials and angled surfaces to deflect radar waves, made it a near-invisible threat during Operation Desert Storm, completing over 1,200 combat sorties without a single loss.

The F-15E Strike Eagle boasts significantly increased firepower compared to its predecessor. Its expanded payload capacity, coupled with advanced ground target detection radar, allows for devastating strikes using a wide array of weaponry, from AGM-65 Maverick missiles to laser-guided and JDAM bombs, and even the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).

Beyond the Skies: Ground and Naval Additions

The Firebirds update also expands the ground and naval forces. New additions include the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the formidable French Dunkerque battleship.

Aces High Season Continues

The current Aces High season offers further opportunities for players to unlock unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards through Battle Pass completion. This includes aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with powerful platoons like the T54E2 and G6, and ships like the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
