Unlocking and Befriending Lobo in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Lobo, a charming wolf villager, can be added to your Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp roster. This guide details how to unlock him, increase his friendship level, and fulfill his special requests.

Unlocking Lobo

Lobo becomes available as a potential contact between levels 20 and 39 of your Camp Manager level. The specific level at which he appears is randomized. You unlock two animals per level, making it a matter of chance and consistent gameplay. Once unlocked, he'll periodically appear on your map.

If Lobo isn't appearing, utilize a Calling Card. This summons him for three hours. Access your Contacts (icon above your planner), locate Lobo under the wolf tab, and select "Call."

To expedite leveling up, actively interact with other animals: complete their requests, provide snacks, and utilize Gulliver's Ship for villager maps (completing these at Blathers's Treasure Trek unlocks additional villagers).

Inviting Lobo to Your Campsite

Before inviting Lobo to your campsite, he needs to reach friendship level 5. You'll also need to craft the following furniture:

Increase Lobo's friendship level by completing his requests (use Request Tickets if needed—three per villager daily). Alternatively, gift him treats; Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats are universally appreciated, while Plain, Tasty, or Gourmet Pound Cakes align with his historical theme.

Completing Lobo's Special Request

At friendship level 10, Lobo presents a special request: crafting a Vintage Telephone. This unlocks rewards (10 friendship points, 1000 Bells, one Request Ticket, and one Calling Card).

The Vintage Telephone, used in several Happy Homeroom classes (Meditative Room, Meditative Room 2, and Edo Zen Home 2), requires:

Crafting time is 18 hours, with a cost of 9980 Bells.
