Minecraft Java Snapshot updates always generate excitement, and 25w06a is no exception, introducing two new chicken variants. This guide details how to locate all three types.

Finding the Chicken Variants:

• Warm Chickens: These chickens sport yellow and orange feathers, blending into warmer biomes. Look for them in: Badlands, Bamboo Jungle, Eroded Badlands, Jungle, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Sparse Jungle, Windswept Savanna, and Wooded Badlands.

• Cold Chickens: Sporting blue feathers, these chickens inhabit colder biomes: Old Growth Pine Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Taiga, Windswept Forest, Windswept Gravelly Hills, and Windswept Hills.

• Temperate Chickens: The classic white chickens, now renamed Temperate Chickens, reside in all biomes not classified as warm or cold.

Taming and Breeding Chickens:

To collect your feathered friends, use seeds to lure them. Chickens don't traditionally "tame," but seeds will encourage them to follow you. Guide them to a secure enclosure. Remember, transporting chickens, especially in Survival mode, can be challenging, so establish checkpoints along the way.

Breeding is straightforward: feed two chickens of the same type seeds to get an egg of that type. For a surprise, feed two different types – the resulting egg will hatch a random variant.
