Top Nintendo Franchise for LEGO Set in 2025 Revealed

Author:Kristen Update:May 14,2025

The collaboration between Nintendo and LEGO has already brought us some fantastic sets, like the dynamic Mario and Yoshi set and the inaugural Legend of Zelda set. While we've seen a rich variety of Mario-themed sets (including Donkey Kong) and a growing collection of Animal Crossing sets, there's still a vast array of untapped potential within Nintendo's iconic franchises. As a fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, I'm eager for more diverse options. For fellow enthusiasts out there, the question arises: which Nintendo franchise would you like to see transformed into LEGO sets next?

Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most?

With the excitement surrounding the upcoming Switch 2, it's clear that Nintendo's momentum isn't waning. As the company continues to expand into movies, such as the new Mario movie and the anticipated live-action Zelda film, and releases new games for the Switch, we can expect more LEGO Nintendo sets in the future. Which franchises do you think might make the cut for 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Personally, I believe the Metroid franchise would be an excellent candidate for LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it's a prime opportunity to launch some stunning builds that I'd be thrilled to purchase. Additionally, I would love to see actual LEGO Pokémon sets, though I acknowledge this might be challenging due to existing licensing agreements with Mattel and The Pokémon Company.
