Top Jedi Survivors of Order 66 Ranked

This month marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, the concluding chapter in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. Released on May 19, 2005, it was the final Star Wars film directed by George Lucas before he sold Lucasfilm to Disney seven years later.

Fans eagerly anticipated Revenge of the Sith knowing it would showcase Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader. A major point of curiosity was the fate of the other Jedi. The film introduced Order 66, a sinister plot by Palpatine to command the Clone Troopers, who had previously fought alongside the Jedi during the Clone Wars, to turn against and execute them. With thousands of Jedi in service, it was logical to assume that some would evade Palpatine's grasp, beyond the few known survivors essential to the Original Trilogy's narrative.

Among the dozens of Order 66 survivors introduced in canon Star Wars stories, we've ranked the top 10 who have had a significant impact. Some survived only briefly after Order 66, while others endured much longer, and in some cases, their ultimate fate remains a mystery. Nonetheless, all these Jedi lived to see another day after Palpatine's chilling command to "Execute Order 66."

Our criteria for this list require that these characters were part of the Jedi Order before Order 66, regardless of whether they were Padawans, Jedi Knights, Jedi Masters, or young Jedi Initiates. This excludes Force-users like Maul and his former Master, Palpatine, as well as young Force wielders like Jod Na Nawood who were never officially part of the Jedi Order. The case of Asajj Ventress, who was trained by Jedi Ky Narec for over 20 years on Rattatak but never visited the Jedi Temple or met the Jedi Council, presents a gray area due to her subsequent alignment with the Dark Side under Dooku. Therefore, she is considered an honorable mention.
