Farewell, SwitchArcade Readers! This is the final regular SwitchArcade Round-Up from me. After several years, circumstances necessitate a change of course. But we're going out with a bang!

Reviews & Mini-Views

Fitness Boxing feat. HATSUNE MIKU ($49.99)

Fitness Boxing feat. HATSUNE MIKU

Following the Fitness Boxing series' success (including the surprisingly good Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star), this Miku collaboration is a smart move. Tested alongside Ring Fit Adventure, it's impressive. It uses boxing and rhythm game mechanics for daily workouts and mini-games. A dedicated Miku song mode is included. Note: Joy-Con only; no Pro Controller support. Difficulty options, free training, warm-ups, tracking, and unlockable cosmetics are featured. The music is excellent, but the instructor's voice is a bit jarring and may need to be muted. A solid fitness game, best used to supplement, rather than replace, other exercise. -Mikhail Madnani

SwitchArcade Score: 4/5

Magical Delicacy ($24.99)

Magical Delicacy

A Metroidvania-style platformer with cooking and crafting elements. The exploration is well-executed, but inventory management and UI could use improvement. Gorgeous pixel art and music. Excellent UI scaling and text options for handheld mode. Some frame pacing issues on Switch, but plays well overall. Better suited for handheld play. A good game, but some quality-of-life updates would elevate it. -Mikhail Madnani

SwitchArcade Score: 4/5

Aero The Acro-Bat 2 ($5.99)

Aero The Acro-Bat 2

A polished sequel to the original Aero The Acro-Bat. This release boasts an improved presentation compared to Ratalaika's usual emulation wrappers, including box and manual scans, achievements, a gallery, and cheats. Only the Super NES version is included (no Genesis/Mega Drive version). A solid platformer, recommended for fans of the series and 16-bit platformers in general.

SwitchArcade Score: 3.5/5

Metro Quester | Osaka ($19.99)

Metro Quester | Osaka

A prequel to the original Metro Quester, featuring a new dungeon in Osaka, new character types, and water-based traversal. Retains the turn-based combat, top-down exploration, and strategic gameplay of the original. More challenging and rewarding for veterans, but accessible to newcomers. A satisfying expansion, not just a sequel.

SwitchArcade Score: 4/5
