Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned an exciting global event for players starting on May 12th. Get ready for a thrilling globe-trotting marathon that will take you to various cities around the world!

The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!

The celebration kicks off in Copenhagen, where Subway Surfers first started. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital and introduces a new daily city-hopping challenge. You'll have the chance to run through not only Copenhagen but also unlock up to 21 other iconic cities such as Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To explore these destinations, you'll need to gather World Tour suitcase tokens at each location to unlock the next city.

This update marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, a tradition that Subway Surfers has been following since 2013. Currently, the game is set in Osaka, celebrating the Golden Week with neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. Two new characters, Saru and Oni Hime, are introduced in Osaka. Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features like Player Names and Friend Lists are being introduced.
