Square Enix Reveals Killer Inn During Summer Game Fest

Tactics Studio's Killer Inn is a thrilling social deduction game where players are split into two factions—Lambs and Wolves—thrown into a sprawling mansion with deadly intentions. Wolves must eliminate all Lambs, while Lambs work to uncover and stop the hidden killers before it's too late.

Players scour the mansion for survival gear, weapons, and tools hidden in chests or sold by merchants. Completing quests rewards tokens to unlock better equipment. With over 20 unique characters—each boasting customizable abilities—players wield anything from guns and knives to grenades in deadly encounters.

Whenever a player is killed, forensic evidence like fingerprints, hair, or bloodstains helps Lambs track down Wolves. The game's clue-tracking system highlights suspicious behavior, aiding deductive gameplay.

Successful Lambs must swiftly eliminate confirmed Wolves—though reckless killings backfire instantly. Safe zones prevent Wolf attacks while harbor escape routes offer alternative victory conditions.

A closed beta via Steam is planned soon, though an official release date remains unannounced.
