Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unleashed an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. The update introduces two thrilling new characters: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix. Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, bringing her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage expertise to The Contest. Meanwhile, Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, makes their debut on April 9th. This dazzling yet dangerous assassin, created by The Founders, uses light manipulation powers to mask a deadly intent. To add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to collect Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids, with the event running through June 4th.

Alongside these new characters, the update brings a fresh quest called Spy Games, running from March 9th to May 7th. In this thrilling narrative, Black Widow enlists Spider-Woman's help to investigate the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. With danger and deception lurking at every corner, these two elite spies are key to uncovering the truth behind Lumatrix’s sinister light show.

Deadpool joins the fray with the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool shares a stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, inspired by the Thunderbolts, shakes up the seven-day supply drop. Running from April 18th through May 2nd, achieving milestones in this event earns you Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring that regular logins mean more free rewards for you.
