Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

Playing games with friends can elevate the experience to new heights. In R.E.P.O., the cooperative nature of the game allows squad members to share the burden, especially since the monsters can be quite formidable. Here's how you can bring your fallen teammates back to life in R.E.P.O..

What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.

When you start a round in R.E.P.O., your health bar is set at 100. You can lose health from encounters with monsters or even from mishaps with items like Human Grenades. To regain health, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share their health by walking up to another player and interacting with their health bar—a unique feature that fosters teamwork.

Despite these measures, the relentless monsters in R.E.P.O. can sometimes overpower your squad. When a teammate falls, their head drops to the ground. You need to pick up the head, and the game's map will help you locate it with a small icon matching the color of the fallen player's character. Remember, retrieving the head is just the first step.

Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Once you have the head in your inventory, make your way to the extraction point. Drop the head there, and if your team has met the round's loot requirement (visible at the top right of your screen), your teammate will revive with 1 HP. They can then enter the truck to gain some additional health and rejoin the fight effectively.

However, if retrieving the head proves too challenging, you can still revive your teammate by starting a new round. This method is akin to Call of Duty Zombies, where dead players respawn at the beginning of a new round. Though this leaves your team at a disadvantage for the remainder of the current round, it can be beneficial, especially if a less experienced player needs time to observe and learn from more seasoned players.
