The remake's popularity isn't surprising. This reimagining of the 2005 classic, starring Leon S. Kennedy in his quest to rescue the President's daughter, Ashley Graham, from a sinister cult, represents a significant shift in gameplay. It embraces a more action-oriented approach, deviating from the survival horror roots of its predecessors.

Many eagerly anticipate a Resident Evil 5 remake, a possibility made more plausible by the relatively short timeframe (just over a year) between the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes.
