Rainbow Six Siege Unveils Rauora, a Fierce New Operator

Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key feature is her DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by bullets, explosives can destroy it. The shield's trigger mechanism offers a strategic advantage; attackers open it in one second, while defenders require three. This time difference could prove vital, especially when the defuser is planted.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine. Players can also choose between the M249 LMG and the 417 marksman rifle as primary weapons.

Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a wider release on the live servers following shortly after.
