Rainbow Six Siege X: Atlanta Reveals

As Rainbow Six Siege celebrates its tenth anniversary, Ubisoft has unveiled an exciting new chapter with the introduction of Siege X. This update is poised to revolutionize the game in a manner reminiscent of how CS2 transformed CS:GO. Set to launch on June 10, Siege X will transition the game to a free-to-play model, opening its doors to a broader audience of players eager to dive into its tactical gameplay.

Key Changes in Siege X:

New Mode: Dual Front – This innovative 6v6 match format blends attack and defense operators into a dynamic battlefield. Teams aim to capture enemy zones and plant sabotage devices across a map segmented into multiple areas: three zones per team and a central neutral zone. Players can respawn 30 seconds after being eliminated, adding a fresh layer of strategy and continuous action to the game.

Advanced Rappel System – Siege X introduces an enhanced rappel system, allowing players to maneuver using ropes not only vertically but also horizontally. This addition promises to offer new tactical opportunities and increase the depth of gameplay.

Increased Environmental Destruction – The game's environment becomes even more interactive with new destructible elements. Players can now trigger explosions from fire extinguishers and gas pipes, adding to the chaos and realism of the battlefield.

Reworks for Five Popular Maps – Five beloved maps are set to receive significant updates, refreshing the environments and potentially altering the strategies players employ.

Graphical & Audio Enhancements – Ubisoft is committed to elevating the sensory experience of Siege X with substantial upgrades to both visuals and sound, ensuring a more immersive and engaging gameplay experience.

Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – In response to community feedback, Ubisoft is enhancing the anti-cheat system and implementing new measures to combat toxic behavior, fostering a more positive and fair gaming environment.

To give players a taste of what's to come, Ubisoft has announced a closed beta for Siege X, which will be accessible to those who watch Siege streams over the next seven days. This opportunity allows fans to experience the new features firsthand and provide valuable feedback before the official launch.
