Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Detailed

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event is coming to Los Angeles and New Taipei City in February 2025! This in-person event, running from February 21st to 23rd, will immerse players in the Unova region, drawing inspiration from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2.

The event will be held at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles and Metropolitan Park in New Taipei City. Both locations will feature themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) with various Unova Pokémon. Shiny Deerling variations will appear depending on the habitat and time of day.

Trainers with tickets can encounter Shiny Meloetta via Masterwork Research, hatch Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others, and potentially find shiny Pikachu with unique hats through Field Research. Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, Druddigon in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott in One-Star Raids, all with increased shiny rates.

Tickets are available now at a discounted price: $25 USD in Los Angeles and $630 NT in New Taipei City. Add-on ticket purchases offer extra bonuses, such as 5,000 XP after completing a raid. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8). Booths and team lounges will offer merchandise and relaxation areas.

A global version, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will occur March 1st-2nd, offering free Unova exploration for all trainers.

Pokémon GO City Safari: December 7th-8th, 2024

Before the Unova Tour, the Pokémon GO City Safari event hits Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, on December 7th and 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Ticket holders will join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery.

A special explorer hat-wearing Eevee will be given to participants. Evolving this Eevee (requiring 25 Eevee Candy) retains the hat. The "Eevee Explorers Expedition" offers a second hatted Eevee.

Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and other Pokémon will appear in the wild, with Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, and Skiddo available through egg hatching. Location-specific Pokémon will also be featured. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu or Eevee visors (while supplies last) will be distributed.

Tickets cost R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong. Add-on tickets provide extra items and increased shiny encounter chances.
