Pokemon Go Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres Dynamax Forms Will Be Available One Week at a Time

Get Ready for Dynamax Legendary Birds in Pokémon GO!

From January 20th to February 3rd, the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will appear in their Dynamax forms in Pokémon GO! This exciting event offers players the chance to encounter and capture these powerful Pokémon.

Legendary Bird Encounters:

The Dynamax legendary birds will appear in five-star Max Raids at Power Spots. Each bird will have a specific week-long appearance:

• Dynamax Articuno: January 20th
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 27th
• Dynamax Moltres: February 3rd

Following their initial appearance, each Dynamax legendary bird will remain available for an entire week.

"Legendary Flight" Timed Research:

A special Timed Research event, "Legendary Flight," will run concurrently. This research offers opportunities to catch Pokémon, including Shiny Pokémon, perfect for battling the legendary birds. You'll also earn Candy and Max Particles to power up your catches. The research periods (in local time) are:

• Dynamax Articuno: January 17th, 10:00 am – January 20th, 7:00 pm (featuring Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny)
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 24th, 10:00 am – January 27th, 7:00 pm (featuring Drilbur, Cryogonal, and Grookey)
• Dynamax Moltres: January 31st, 10:00 am – February 3rd, 7:00 pm (featuring Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble)

Victini Returns in Pokémon GO Tour: Unova!

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova global event is also underway. While the in-person event is location-specific, players worldwide can upgrade their free Tour Pass to a Deluxe Pass for enhanced rewards and faster progression.

A free Tour Pass will be available to all players on February 24th, 2025, at 10:00 am (local time), allowing them to earn Tour Points and rank up for additional rewards until March 2nd, 6:00 pm (local time).

Upgrading to the Deluxe Pass grants immediate access to the Mythical Pokémon Victini and the Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket lets you become Lucky Friends with another player, enabling a trade for a Lucky Pokémon (boosted stats and reduced power-up costs). This Lucky Friend status is one-time use per trade.

• Tour Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks: $19.99 USD

Remember to claim your Deluxe Pass rewards before March 9th, 2025, at 6:00 pm (local time).
