Pokémon fans rejoice! New Pokémon have arrived in Pokémon Sleep, adding excitement to the sleep-based mobile game. As of December 3rd, 2024, Sneasel and its evolution, Weavile, are available for befriending.

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile

Given their Ice/Dark typing in the main series games, you might expect Sneasel and Weavile in a snowy location. While they appear at Snowdrop Tundra in Pokémon Sleep, they're classified as Dark-type Pokémon (no dual typing in this game). Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players, regardless of research island progress. Use an EZ Travel Ticket to change islands if needed.

Sleep Types and Evolution

Both Sneasel and Weavile share the Dozing sleep type. Maximize your chances of encountering them by ensuring your sleep type matches. Sneasel is easier to find initially, evolving into Weavile with 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, you'll still need to encounter Weavile in the wild for research data.
