Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces Golden Idols, unique quest items not automatically logged. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't traded with NPCs to advance a storyline; instead, they're valuable commodities. This guide details their location and how to maximize their worth.

Finding the Golden Idols

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3, a portal transports you to Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present), showcasing the Vaal civilization at its zenith. Within Utzaal and the connected area Aggorat, five Golden Idols are hidden. They aren't enemy drops; instead, they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Utzaal:

• Glorious Idol
• Golden Idol
• Grand Idol

Aggorat:

• Exceptional Idol
• Elegant Idol

Selling Your Treasures

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and locate Oswald in the north. He's the sole vendor who accepts these idols. Selling prices are as follows:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five yields a substantial 6000 Gold reward. Given their size and sole purpose (selling), it's advisable to return to the encampment after each find to sell and free up inventory space.
