World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Introduces Subtle Height-Adjusting Potions

World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined," introduces Noggenfogger Select potions, offering players a temporary yet convenient method for fine-tuning their character's height. These consumables, stackable up to ten times, provide subtle adjustments, unlike more drastic size-altering items.

The patch, currently on the Public Test Realm (PTR), also boasts significant story developments for "The War Within" and visual updates for various classes. However, the Noggenfogger Select potions are a significant addition for character customization enthusiasts.

Noggenfogger Select Potions: A Closer Look

Available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks (the Steemwheedle Cartel reputation hub in Undermine), these potions (Noggenfogger Select UP and Noggenfogger Select DOWN) cost just over three gold each. They are unbound and not level-locked, allowing easy trading between characters. Each potion's effect lasts 30 minutes and persists through death, making them ideal for roleplaying, screenshots, or even dungeon and raid encounters.

While other items drastically alter character size, the Noggenfogger Select potions offer a more nuanced approach. Even at maximum stacks (10), the height change remains subtle, only a few inches, according to Wowhead screenshots. This contrasts sharply with the dramatic size shifts caused by items like the Elixir of Giant Growth or the original Noggenfogger Elixir.

Additional Customization Options

Alchemist Pestlezugg also offers Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-exclusive potion enabling the use of a stylish lean emote, currently unique to NPCs. While similar emotes exist in the game files for other races, this potion grants Goblins exclusive access.

Many players eagerly anticipate these additions, though a permanent height slider remains a highly desired feature. Until a major character customization overhaul is implemented, players will continue to rely on options like the Seabed Leviathan's Citrine in Cyrce's Circlets, Colossus Warrior forms, and consumables like the Noggenfogger Select potions to manage their character's height.
