"Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Start April 24 in U.S., $449"

Nintendo has exciting news for gaming enthusiasts: pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will kick off in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The console will retain its original price of $449.99 and is set to launch on June 5, 2025. This announcement was made official on Nintendo's website, where they also mentioned that prices for Switch 2 accessories might see adjustments due to shifting market conditions. Nintendo also hinted at potential future price changes for any of their products, depending on how the market evolves.

In addition to the base console, Nintendo confirmed that the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will stay priced at $499.99. The prices for both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will also remain unchanged at launch.
