NieR: Automata - Where To Get Dented Plates

NieR: Automata Resource Management: Farming Dented Plates

While some resources in NieR: Automata are plentiful, the demand for materials, especially when upgrading numerous weapons, remains high. Dented Plates, a frequently required component, can be efficiently farmed using several strategies.

Efficient Dented Plate Farming Locations

Dented Plates are commonly dropped by:

  • Small Biped (all variants)
  • Small Flyer (all variants)
  • Small Sphere (all variants)

These ubiquitous enemies are prevalent throughout the game. However, relying solely on random encounters isn't the most efficient method.

The Optimal Farming Spot: Adam's Pit

The most effective location is the pit where you first encounter Adam.

  1. Fast travel to the Desert: Housing Complex access point.
  2. Proceed deeper into the ruins.
  3. Descend to the pit.

Here, enemies continuously respawn, with Small Bipeds being the most common. Even lower-level enemies in this area offer a decent drop rate for Dented Plates, and it's also a good spot to farm Titanium Alloy.

Alternative Farming Locations: Forest Kingdom

The Forest Kingdom provides another option, featuring numerous groups of spear-wielding Bipeds. These groups usually yield at least one Dented Plate. This area also offers opportunities to gather Beast Hide. Higher-level Bipeds in later game stages boast an increased Dented Plate drop rate.

Maximize Your Yield

Equipping drop-rate boosting plug-in chips significantly enhances your chances of obtaining Dented Plates. Remember to avoid death, as this will result in the permanent loss of your chips.
