NetEase Launches Tactical RPG Marvel Mystic Mayhem

Marvel Mystic Mayhem has arrived on mobile, developed by NetEase and Exptional Global. This turn-based tactical RPG plunges players into a Marvel universe distorted by Nightmare—blending horror elements with strategic superhero combat.

A Distorted Marvel Universe

The villain Nightmare pulls heroes and villains into their deepest subconscious terrors. Doctor Strange and Sleepwalker spearhead the resistance, with Sleepwalker’s inclusion being particularly thematic—he exists only when his host sleeps.

Players must rescue iconic Marvel characters trapped within twisted versions of their psyches. The roster mixes familiar faces with obscure mystic figures from Marvel lore.

The gameplay begins with assembling a team across class archetypes like Strikers, Controllers, Defenders and Fighters, emphasizing tactical positioning and ability synergies.

Central to the experience are multi-phase battles against Nightmare across shifting battlefields filled with environmental hazards—victory requires adapting to terrain transformations while exploiting his vulnerabilities.

Deep Progression System

Characters can evolve to 5-star Legend status with unlocked skills and enhanced abilities. The difficulty scales to reward committed players with progressively challenging encounters.

Pre-registered players receive milestone bonuses, while early adopters gain immediate access to The Sentry—a redesigned powerhouse bringing unpredictable combat dynamics.
