Locate Mutt, Your Loyal Canine Companion, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Mutt, Henry's faithful dog in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, disappears early in the game. This guide provides a straightforward method to reunite with him.

Mutt's Location:

Mutt is situated near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp and east of the river bathing spot. The image below pinpoints his location.

Fast travel to the Nomads' Camp for easy access. Follow the path southwest into the forest; you'll likely find yourself above the cave. You'll hear Mutt's whimpers as you approach. He's in a clearing near the cave with some wolves.

Approaching triggers a cutscene introducing Mutt and a wolf pack, along with a combat command tutorial. You can choose to fight or flee. While the wolves aren't overly challenging, defeating them offers a skill-leveling opportunity.

After the wolf encounter, Mutt is yours to command. Hold L1 (while facing him) to interact, feed him, or send him home.

Finding Mutt During the "Invaders" Side Quest:

Interestingly, you might stumble upon Mutt's location during the "Invaders" side quest, specifically if you interact with the Cumans. Following Vasko while intoxicated leads directly to the cave, initiating the cutscene. However, attempting this while drunk and in the dark is significantly harder.

It's strongly recommended to rescue Mutt before continuing the "Invaders" quest. Navigating the wolves while drunk and hampered by poor visibility is considerably more difficult, potentially leading to accidental death.
