Monster Walk RPG Launches Early Access on Android

Talofa Games has launched early access for its new monster-collecting RPG, Monster Walk. The game is now available on Android and iOS in the UK, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Finland, and Denmark. A full launch in the United States and other territories is scheduled for later this year.

The studio's debut mobile title was Run Legends, an interactive fitness game. It gained a following for its unique mechanic where physical movement directly powered in-game attacks and abilities—walking or running was essential to victory.

Their second major release continues this fusion of activity and adventure. Monster Walk is an RPG where every step you take fuels the journey. Whether you're walking the dog or heading to a local cafe, you'll be exploring fantastical realms and encountering curious creatures to collect.

Steps tracked by your phone or wearable device convert into in-game energy. This resource is used for gathering materials, hatching eggs, and training your monsters. Essentially, each step replenishes your stamina, enhances your combat power, and helps upgrade your home base.

The game features a wide array of monsters to discover and befriend. Each has distinct skills, and you can level them up and deepen your connection through regular activity. Your progress also unlocks new regions and expands your central hub.

Monster Walk features robust combat mechanics. Engage in fast-paced, bullet-hell style battles where you dodge, block, and counter enemy attacks. These real-time encounters can happen spontaneously as you explore the world.

The game includes daily and weekly objectives to complete. Challenges range from hitting step goals and tracking rare monsters to finishing limited-time seasonal quests.

If you're located in an early access country, you can download Monster Walk for free from the Google Play Store.
