In the thrilling world of Monster Hunter Now, the second update of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade introduces the Spring Hunt 2025, a special paid event set to take place from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. This event is your golden ticket to an action-packed adventure, focusing on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

The Spring Hunt 2025 event requires an event ticket, available for purchase in the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket grants you access to an uninterrupted series of Elder Dragon Interceptions, all centered around Chameleos. No waiting around between battles, just continuous action and the thrill of the hunt. Plus, you’ll have the chance to claim exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear to customize your hunter's appearance.

As part of the event, two Event Exchange Hubs will be available. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub opens from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. and runs until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During the event, from May 19th to May 25th, you can earn tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can be exchanged for valuable items such as the Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enhancing your arsenal and gear.

Chameleos, the master of stealth, is notorious for its ability to disappear and create a disorienting fog. Starting May 24th, 2025, you'll have the opportunity to face this vanishing menace in Elder Dragon Interceptions. If you're ranked 100 or above, you can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions from 9:00 a.m. on the 24th, when they enter a preliminary state. To tackle Chameleos effectively, equip weapons that deal Fire, Dragon, or Blast damage, as the elder dragon is particularly vulnerable to these elements.

Defeating Chameleos allows you to forge the new Mizuha Set armor, which comes equipped with the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill not only halves the duration of poison and venom effects on you but also makes it easier to inflict poison on your enemies. With materials from Chameleos, you can craft a variety of weapons including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow, ensuring you have the right tools for any hunt.
