Marvel Rivals Showcases Its Season 1 Darkhold Battle Pass

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Dark and Bloody Battle Pass

Get ready for Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold battle pass, promising a chilling experience dominated by Dracula and featuring a surprising absence of Fantastic Four skins. Doctor Strange's predicament sets the stage for a Fantastic Four-led rebellion against Dracula's forces.

The 990 Lattice battle pass (approximately $10) offers substantial rewards: 600 Lattice and 600 Units for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. Ten exclusive skins headline the rewards, along with sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A reassuring note: unfinished passes won't expire.

The trailer showcases stunning new skins: Magneto's King Magnus (House of M inspired), Rocket's Western Bounty Hunter look, Iron Man's Dark Souls-esque Blood Edge Armor, Peni Parker's vibrant Blue Tarantula suit, and Namor's regal green Savage Sub-Mariner attire.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The season's dark aesthetic is undeniable. Wolverine's Van Helsing-inspired skin, the blood moon backdrop in New York City, Loki's sinister All-Butcher outfit, and Moon Knight's stark black and white costume all contribute to the ominous atmosphere. Scarlet Witch and Adam Warlock also receive suitably themed makeovers.

While excitement is high, the lack of Fantastic Four skins is a point of discussion. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their skins will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, anticipation remains strong for NetEase Games' next move in this action-packed hero shooter.
