Exciting news for fans of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby anime! Cygames has confirmed an official English release of its popular horse-girl racing simulation game. A Japanese version already boasts excellent reviews.

Cygames has launched an official English website, YouTube channel, and X (formerly Twitter) account to keep global fans updated on the game's progress.

For newcomers, Uma Musume Pretty Derby is part of a larger multimedia franchise including anime and manga. Its popularity stems largely from the success of the anime series.

Initially released in Japan and Asia in February 2021 for Android and iOS, the game features horse girls—racehorses reincarnated as girls—competing in the "Twinkle Series," a national sports entertainment event, to become top idols.

While the game hasn't had a global release, characters like Gold Ship from Team Spica have already appeared in global titles such as Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, hinting at future crossovers once the English version launches.
