The Cell Garden is a crucial area within your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline of Freedom Wars Remastered. It's not only integral to the narrative but also serves as a safe haven for farming resources, offering a less risky alternative to operations.
Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the method to access each one remains consistent across different levels. Here's a comprehensive guide on locating any Cell Garden and understanding how they function for resource farming.
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a task from Mattias, who sends you on a mission to investigate the ghost girl story he's heard. To reach the Cell Garden, navigate to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, glance to the left corner of the block where you'll spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same location where you encountered Enzo.
Upon entering 2-E165, proceed along the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. From 2-G100, head to the far room where the final device awaits to take you directly to the Cell Garden.
This route to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels, and unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent traveling. Once you've completed the main quest related to the Cell Garden, you'll have the freedom to revisit it or explore other Cell Gardens at your leisure. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.
Each device leading to subsequent rooms or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making navigation straightforward.
The Cell Garden's mechanics differ slightly between the main story mission and regular visits. Here's how it operates outside of the initial quest:
To maximize your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades extend your stay, with the first one allowing you two minutes and becoming available once you reach CODE level 3. This is particularly useful for navigating more complex layouts that may include puzzle elements.
