Fortnite Leaker Reveals Another Upcoming Anime Crossover

Fortnite Rumored to Crossover with Popular Anime Kaiju No. 8

Recent leaks suggest a potential crossover between the hugely popular battle royale game, Fortnite, and the anime sensation, Kaiju No. 8. Given Kaiju No. 8's current global popularity, such a collaboration would be a logical move by Epic Games. Further fueling speculation, leaks also point towards a possible Demon Slayer crossover in the near future.

The news follows Fortnite's recent Winterfest event and the launch of its first major 2025 update. This update introduced new cosmetics, gameplay adjustments (including the use of Fortnite Festival instruments as back blings and pickaxes), and a local co-op mode for Fortnite Festival. These additions have coincided with a flurry of rumors regarding upcoming features and crossovers.

Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX tweeted about the potential Kaiju No. 8 collaboration. For the uninitiated, Kaiju No. 8 follows Kafka Hibino, a young man who gains kaiju-transforming abilities after an unusual encounter with a parasitic creature. Initially a manga, it was adapted into an anime in 2024, with a second season slated for 2025. A Kaiju No. 8 crossover would place it alongside other successful anime collaborations in Fortnite, such as Dragon Ball Z.

More Than Just Kaiju No. 8?

Beyond Kaiju No. 8, multiple sources suggest a Demon Slayer crossover is also in the works. While details remain scarce regarding both potential collaborations, many fans anticipate new cosmetics in the Item Shop, and some even hope for map-based character representations.

Further leaks hint at the arrival of additional MonsterVerse characters to join Godzilla (available January 17th via the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass). King Kong and Mechagodzilla cosmetics are reportedly on the way.
