FaZe Swagg, another prominent streamer, dramatically switched to Marvel Rivals during a live broadcast after encountering numerous connectivity issues and hackers. His stream even incorporated a live counter tracking the number of cheaters encountered.

Further compounding the problems is the significant nerfing of the zombies mode, hindering the acquisition of desirable cosmetic items, and an overwhelming number of cosmetic purchases. This is perceived as a prioritization of monetization over meaningful gameplay improvements.
