Season two will reportedly continue exploring the Vault-Tec narrative and address the season one cliffhanger, as reported by Screen Rant. While Uggams' return is confirmed, the full cast hasn't been officially announced, though Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to reprise their roles. Uggams hinted at intriguing developments for her character, Betty Pearson: "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she stated. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."

A tentative release date of 2026 has been suggested, factoring in filming and post-production. However, no official release date has been confirmed. For context, Fallout season one filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.
