Author:Kristen Update:May 25,2025

Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, a thrilling new first-person single-player action-adventure game, drawing inspiration from the 2023 hit Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will take command of a fishing trawler to explore the mysterious post-apocalyptic Drownlands. The game promises a blend of fishing, exploration, combat against monsters, crafting, boat upgrades, and uncovering the enigmatic secrets that await in this sunken world. Dreadmoor is currently in development for PC. Be sure to watch the announcement trailer above and browse through the first screenshots in the gallery below for a sneak peek.

Dream Dock describes Dreadmoor as follows: "Step behind the helm of a fishing trawler and set sail into a world where, following a global nuclear war, continents have vanished beneath the waves, leaving behind scattered islands and submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Sell your catch to survivors, undertake quests, and edge closer to survival. Be vigilant about your ship’s cargo hold, as creatures might devour each other! Enhance your vessel and craft essential equipment to delve into hidden depths and uncover secret locations. Mutated creatures and sinister mysteries lurk in the deep and within abandoned structures, particularly at night. Beware of radiation, as the danger intensifies out there…"
