Dragonkin: The Banished A New Era Begins with Demo and Extensive Update Plans

Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, currently in Steam Early Access. This early access version encompasses the prologue and first chapter, allowing players to experience the narrative through three distinct heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. Players will also encounter four Vermplings – cooperative companions – and utilize the innovative Bloodline Grid skill system. Endgame hunting quests and initial hub city upgrades are also included. The demo is available now until March 3, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.

The developers have a robust roadmap for the coming year. Spring updates will introduce new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update will be a significant milestone, introducing multiplayer support alongside further refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city.

In Dragonkin: The Banished, players navigate a world tainted by ancient dragon blood, guiding a legendary warrior to defeat monstrous creatures and confront the formidable Dragonlords. Character progression is driven by character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic customization options of the Bloodline Grid.

Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
