Disney Pixel RPG Unveiled: Unlocking Retro Nostalgia

GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, is venturing into a new realm with their upcoming retro-style RPG: Disney Pixel RPG. This collaboration with Disney promises a pixel art adventure featuring a vast roster of beloved Disney characters.

The game, slated for release this year, will allow players to recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds. Expect a blend of battle, action, and rhythm-based challenges.

Players can create and customize their own avatars, fighting alongside their favorite Disney heroes. While primarily an auto-battler, Disney Pixel RPG will offer periods of direct control. The storyline centers on combating strange programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Retro Revival

This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossovers. However, given Disney's extensive library of films and franchises, this project offers an unprecedentedly large pool of potential characters. GungHo's experience managing diverse casts makes them ideally suited for this undertaking.
