Garena's Delta Force: A Global Launch and PC Open Beta

Garena is bringing the tactical FPS title, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, to a global audience. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile platforms following in 2025. Developed initially by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), the game now sees Garena partnering for its release in various global regions.

Cross-progression between PC and mobile will be a key feature. The 2025 rollout will encompass Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

What's in Store?

Delta Force offers two distinct game modes:

• Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
• Operations: A three-player extraction shooter mode. Teams scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and race against the clock to reach an extraction point. Bosses, restricted zones, and special missions add to the challenge.

Acquired loot can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also loot fallen opponents. A rare item, the MandelBrick, grants exclusive skins but reveals the player's location to everyone else.

A Nod to the Past

Garena and TiMi's Delta Force boasts sharp, realistic graphics and retains the tactical gameplay that defined the original 1998 release. Fans of the original will find plenty to appreciate.
