This update significantly enhances the zombie-slaying experience with the addition of several exciting features.

Confront the Revenants in Dead Island 2's New Game Plus (NG+)

NG+ mode allows players to replay the entire game at increased difficulty, retaining their inventory, character level, and skills. Three extra skill slots, a higher level cap, new weapons, skins, and formidable new enemies—the Revenants—await. These powerful Apex zombie variants boast enhanced abilities and challenging behaviors, promising a significant increase in difficulty. To counter this, all weapons in NG+ are more potent than their base game counterparts, with a greater variety of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.

Neighborhood Watch: A New Horde Mode Experience

The update also includes the Neighbourhood Watch horde mode, a unique blend of horde and tower defense gameplay. Players must defend their base for five in-game days, fending off relentless zombie hordes while completing objectives to earn valuable gear.
