Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its round-based survival mode, Zombies, with a brand-new map that marks the fifth addition to the game. A tantalizing sneak peek was shared via the official Call of Duty X (formerly Twitter) account and Black Ops 6's developer, Treyarch Studio’s X (Twitter) account. The post, dated March 12, 2025, showcases a striking image of a grand mansion, its walls visibly damaged, surrounded by flaming wreckage of an army car, dark puffs of black smoke, and flames erupting from within.

The caption reads, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" accompanied by a "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a familiar face in the series, played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War. Given that Black Ops 6 is a remake of this title, it's no surprise to see Eddie returning to the fray.

Sharp-eyed fans have identified this new map as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, as indicated in the teaser image. This timeline aligns seamlessly with the narrative of the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a continuation of the story.

Another intriguing aspect of this new map is the absence of Amalgam enemies, as confirmed by Treyarch on their Instagram account. In response to a user's comment about anticipating "the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too," the developers simply stated, "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high health points and powerful attacks, are Elite class enemies. Their exclusion from this map could lead to a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience for players.
