EA has unveiled a fascinating new tool called Battlefield Labs, which essentially serves as an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the acclaimed Battlefield series. The developers have also given fans a sneak peek with a few seconds of gameplay from the current pre-alpha version, stirring excitement among the gaming community.

Within Battlefield Labs, those fortunate enough to receive an invitation will have the opportunity to test out core mechanics and innovative concepts. However, not all features tested will necessarily make it into the final release. Participants will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before they can access these various gameplay elements. The available game modes will include the fan-favorites Conquest and Breakthrough. The initial testing phases will concentrate on combat and the game's renowned destruction system, with subsequent phases dedicated to ensuring balance.

EA has opened pre-registration for Battlefield Labs on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, and a select group of a few thousand players will receive invitations in the coming weeks. The company plans to expand access to more regions as the testing progresses.
