Avowed Marks First Month with Major Update, Enhanced Features

Just one month after its launch, and already available on Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have released a new trailer celebrating Avowed. The trailer features glowing reviews and quotes from gaming journalists, showcasing the warm reception of this action-RPG. The latest update introduces support for DLSS 4, which includes Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These cutting-edge technologies significantly enhance performance, with NVIDIA reporting up to a threefold increase in frame rates at maximum 4K settings, achieving up to 340 FPS. The developers have also hinted at exciting announcements regarding the game’s future support and roadmap in the coming weeks.

This update goes beyond just technical enhancements—it also improves the player experience. Players will now earn an additional talent point every five levels, and those who have already progressed will receive their points automatically upon loading the game. For keyboard and mouse users, a new feature allows toggling between walking and running. Additionally, an accessibility option has been added to increase font sizes in documents, guides, and other in-game text, making the game more enjoyable for a wider audience.

While Avowed didn’t leave critics entirely speechless, it has received strong reviews across the board. Digital Foundry hailed the game as a technical "triumph," further cementing its status as a standout title from Obsidian. With these updates and ongoing support, Avowed continues to be a must-play for fans of the genre.
