This chess score sheet scanner digitizes your games effortlessly. Simply scan your score sheets, and the app extracts the text to reconstruct the game. A clear overview displays the score sheet alongside the generated moves, highlighting potential errors with color-coded moves. Easily correct any misinterpretations using the intelligent move suggestion feature.
Once the game is generated, categorize it by tournament, analyze it directly on Lichess or Chess.com (premium feature), or export it as a PGN file.
Scanning & Setup:
Use the built-in scanner or upload images from your gallery. Specify score sheets for both White and Black players, supporting up to two sheets per player. The app intelligently handles various notation systems, including:
- English: N/B/R/Q/K
- German: S/L/T/D/K
- Dutch: P/L/T/D/K
- Spanish/Italian: C/A/T/D/R
- French: C/F/T/D/R
- Portuguese: C/B/T/D/R
- Czech/Slovak: J/S/V/D/K
While other notations can be used, accuracy may be reduced.
Game Generation & Refinement:
Generate the game immediately after scanning or manually overlay the move grid for finer control. The app processes score sheets on its servers (generation time: 1-10 seconds, depending on factors like legibility and internet speed).
The game overview shows the score sheet columns with generated moves. Tap a move to jump to that position and view suggested alternatives. Missed or crossed-out moves? Easily add or skip them and regenerate the game.
Data & Management:
Add player and tournament details, along with game descriptions. Manage your games with an overview that allows filtering by tournament, round, and favorites, plus a search function for players or descriptions.
Export & Import & Analysis:
Export filtered or individual games as PGN files (premium feature), customizing the included data. Import games via PGN files. Analyze games directly within Lichess and Chess.com (premium feature).
