« Roots of Pacha » sur le thème western : Stardew Valley rencontre Red Dead

Cattle Country, un jeu Steam qui sortira bientôt, promet une touche du Far West au genre populaire de l'agriculture et de la simulation de vie, établissant des comparaisons avec Stardew Valley. Développé par Castle Pixel, connu pour des titres comme Rex Rocket et Blossom Tales 2 : The Minotaur Prince, Cattle Country marque leur incursion dans les simulations agricoles.

Le jeu, décrit comme un "Cozy Cowboy Adventure Life Sim", conserve les mécanismes agricoles familiers : construction d'une ferme, développement de la ville et forge d'amitiés avec les villageois. Cependant, son argument de vente unique est son cadre Old West.

Qu'est-ce qui distingue Cattle Country ?

Le cadre du jeu est sa caractéristique la plus frappante. La bande-annonce présente des scènes d'élevage nocturne de bétail, de chariots tirés par des chevaux et même des éléments bourrés d'action tels qu'une fusillade dans un saloon et une bagarre dans une arène de fortune.
