Après avoir quitté la Petite Zone, votre voyage se poursuit dans la difficile zone des déchets. En raison de l'éloignement de votre base de départ, rencontrer des commerçants dans cette région prendra du temps.

Au départ, vos marqueurs de quête ne vous mèneront pas directement au hub Slag Heap. Faire progresser le scénario principal est essentiel. Terminer la quête « Les réponses ont un prix » déverrouille l'emplacement du terril, après avoir visité le centre de détention et le laboratoire et rencontré Scar.

Cependant, vous pouvez explorer le terril plus tôt : il est situé au nord du laboratoire. Ce hub présente deux commerçants précieux.

Boozer, situé près de l'entrée, gère le bar. Il achète et vend une grande variété de produits, notamment de la nourriture et des boissons. Vous ne le manquerez pas !

Huron, que l'on trouve à gauche et par la porte ouverte sur votre droite, est spécialisé dans les armes et équipements. Sa chambre sert également de réserve, vous permettant de stocker des objets supplémentaires. Parler avec lui lance également une quête secondaire.

Bien qu'il ne soit pas commerçant, un technicien se trouve au fond du couloir de gauche. Vous le rencontrerez en parlant avec Diode pour la quête principale.
