Proyecto Mugen renombrado como Ananta, nuevo tráiler revelado

¿Recuerdas Project Mugen, el RPG de mundo abierto urbano en desarrollo por Naked Rain y publicado por NetEase? Primero, el proyecto ha sido renombrado oficialmente y ahora se conoce como Ananta.

Este RPG fue anunciado originalmente en agosto de 2023 en la Gamescom. Después de un largo período sin actualizaciones, finalmente se ha lanzado un nuevo tráiler. Se espera más información el 5 de diciembre. Mientras tanto, mira el tráiler oficial de Ananta a continuación.

¿Por qué el cambio de nombre?

No se ha dado una razón oficial para el cambio de nombre. En sánscrito, "Ananta" significa infinito, similar al significado de "Mugen". Esta conexión también se refleja en el título chino del juego.

Las reacciones entre la comunidad de jugadores son mixtas respecto al nuevo nombre. Aun así, muchos están aliviados de que el proyecto siga activo.

Los jugadores ya están comparando a Ananta con otro RPG próximo, Neverness to Everness de Hotta Studio. Aunque el último tráiler de Ananta tiene un acabado visual pulido, no incluye imágenes de gameplay.

Para muchos, Neverness to Everness mantiene una ventaja en cuanto a expectativas. Personalmente, encuentro el estilo visual de Ananta más atractivo.

Curiosamente, el equipo detrás de Project Mugen eliminó todas sus cuentas originales en redes sociales, incluyendo un canal de YouTube con más de 100,000 suscriptores y millones de visualizaciones.
