Nintendo hat bekannt gegeben, dass die Switch 2 einen neuen Unternehmensrekord aufgestellt hat und mit über 3,5 Millionen verkauften Einheiten in den ersten vier Tagen zum weltweit am schnellsten verkauften Hardware-Produkt des Unternehmens geworden ist.

Die Ankündigung erfolgte über den offiziellen Twitter/X-Account von Nintendo: "#NintendoSwitch2 hat weltweit in den ersten vier Tagen über 3,5 Millionen Einheiten verkauft und ist damit die weltweit am schnellsten verkaufte Nintendo-Hardware aller Zeiten."

Diese beeindruckende Verkaufszahl wurde wahrscheinlich dank der starken Lieferkette von Nintendo für die Switch 2 erreicht, eine spürbare Verbesserung gegenüber früheren Hardware-Engpässen, die sowohl Nintendo als auch Wettbewerber betrafen. Der starke Start bestätigt die Aussagen von Nintendo of America-Präsident Doug Bowser über ausreichende Lagerbestände, um die US-Nachfrage zu decken.
