Spannende Neuigkeiten! Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones ist offiziell der Spielesammlung von Nintendo Switch Online beigetreten.

Ursprünglich 2004 für den Game Boy Advance veröffentlicht, erreichte dieses Klassiker-Spiel westliche Publikum erst 2005. Die Geschichte folgt den königlichen Zwillingen Eirika und Ephraim, die darum kämpfen, ihr Königreich Renais zurückzuerobern und dabei die schockierende Untreue ihres früheren Verbündeten aufdecken.

Für viele Spieler bedeutet dies die erste Gelegenheit, The Sacred Stones zu erleben. Es wurde nicht nur vor zwei Jahrzehnten veröffentlicht, sondern war damals auch nur der zweite Fire-Emblem-Titel, der international lokalisiert wurde, und stellte den letzten GBA-Beitrag der Reihe dar.

Apropos Nintendos nächste Konsole: Die Nintendo Switch 2 war ursprünglich für den 5. Juni 2025 zum UVP von 449,99 $ geplant. Allerdings standen Pre-Orders in den USA aufgrund von Zollpolitik, die die Marktbedingungen beeinflusst, unerwarteten Verzögerungen gegenüber. Nintendo hat nun bestätigt, dass Pre-Orders am 24. April starten, wobei der Einführungspreis von 449,99 $ beibehalten wird.
